Julie Merrill, Change Catalyst President, is known for her ability to quickly grasp business strategies; then design and implement the infrastructures to accomplish them. She collaborates with executives and teams to engage all levels in the change process, thus creating ownership of a new, innovative workplace. Julie began her career in Information Technology for banking when the industry was changing rapidly through product and technology innovations, consolidations, new competitors and evolving customer demands. It launched her role as a change catalyst as she was frequently called upon to drastically evolve businesses and teams she managed or consulted with. These successes in redefining business visions, creating and implementing roadmaps for change and building collaborative teams created a life long path of change agent. Julie believes in the creative power of change for an organization's profitability, employees' engagement and customers' benefit. Julie has consulted with, or managed, a variety of business and operating areas ranging from banks to call centers and software development firms. The companies have been in all stages of development from startups to complete shutdowns and include Continental Bank, Bank of America, McKesson, Xpede, TCSI and Rocket Software. This breadth of experience builds upon Julie's strong education (Masters in Management from Northwestern - Kellogg, Bachelors in Science from Purdue) and continuing professional development (balanced scorecards, employee affiliation and motivation, creating an extraordinary sales force).
